Description

Nos 1 to 5 on The Green in Havering-Atte-Bower are a late 18th-century row of four timber-framed cottages and a former forge, varying in width and all standing two storeys tall. The two eastern cottages are weatherboarded, while the two western ones are pebble-dashed. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to extension. The row features one central chimney stack with additional smaller stacks at the rear. The upper storey has sash windows throughout, while the ground storey displays a variety of window styles, including one shop front. There is also a single-storey extension to the east.
