Description

The Church of St John the Evangelist, located on the west side of The Green in Havering-Atte-Bower, was built between 1875 and 1878 by architect Basil Champneys. This church features a nave, chancel, and a south-west tower, all designed in the Decorated style. The exterior is faced with flint and includes stone dressings. Notably, the tower has an open east-west passage and open-work battlements.
