THE GREEN 1. 5017 (west side) Havering-Atte-Bower Church of St John the Evangelist (formerly listed as Church of St John) TQ 5093/5193 1/7 4.7.52 II GV 2. 1875-8 by Basil Champneys. Church comprising nave, chancel and south-west tower all in the Decorated style. Flint faced with stone dressings. The tower has an open east-west passage and open-work battlements.
