Description
The presbytery located to the east of the Church of Our Lady of Grace is an early to mid-19th century villa. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The fairly low pitched slate roof is concealed behind a parapet. The central section of the building is recessed and has a balustrade above it. The exterior is finished in stucco, with a frieze and cornice, and a band at the first floor level.
On the first floor, the windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two round bays, each containing three restored sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance features a central prostyle Doric porch with an original double door that has six panels, with the center panels being circular, flanked by sidelights. Above the door is a segmental fanlight with renewed radial bars.
To the right, there is a one-storey set back extension. The north (garden) front of the building has two storeys and a basement, with seven windows, six of which are full height rounded bays on either side. All windows are sash with glazing bars set in plain reveals. The roof is also concealed behind a frieze, cornice, and parapet. Note that the second and sixth first floor windows are blocked.
