Description
No. 80 Charlton Road is an early 18th century weatherboarded cottage that has one storey and an attic, featuring two windows. The cottage has a mansard roof covered with pantiles on top and handmade clay tiles on the sides. There are two gabled dormers with later bargeboards and leaded, two-light casement windows. The ground floor windows are horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars set in box frames, topped with moulded wood cornices. A massive offset end chimney is located on the right side of the building. The entrance features a six-panel door, with two upper panels glazed, situated under a gabled lattice porch. The bargeboards and spike finial match those of the dormers. Additionally, there are early 19th century sash windows on the left return and an early to mid-19th century rear extension.
