Description

The gateway located on the axis to the west of Charlton House is a late 17th-century free-standing arch made of stuccoed stone. It features a round arch with a moulded architrave and imposts. Flanking the arch are Corinthian columns that support an entablature. Above the entablature is a cresting adorned with a vase and cornucopiae. The columns are set on a plinth.
