Description
These are an early 19th century pair of houses, number 35 and 37 Fairfield Grove. Each house is two storeys and has two windows. They are constructed of stucco, with a cornice and blocking course hiding a low-pitched, hipped slate roof. A sill string runs along the first floor. The sash windows have glazing bars, although the first-floor windows of number 35 have been replaced. Console brackets support the cornices above the windows and above the entrances on the returns. The entrances have six-panel doors, cornice heads, and rectangular fanlights. Numbers 25 to 39 (the odd numbers) form a group.
