The cottage is a single storey with an attic, originally consisting of two bays. The thatch is carried down over external additions at both ends. The timber framing on the ground floor has been replaced with brick. Corner braces are visible and there is an external brick stack to the right gable. The entrance is within the left-hand end extension. The windows are timber casements. An extension to the right is weatherboarded.
