Description

The Rowans is a 17th-century cottage located in Charlton Village. It features a timber frame with brick noggings and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays. The frame is three panels high and includes corner braces, although the front has been much restored. The entrance is situated in the left bay, and there are timber casement windows. The roof is hipped and has a brick stack on the right side.
