Description
Manor House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with a datestone of 1625, and further alterations made in the 18th century and from the 19th to early 20th centuries. It is constructed of diaper brick with stone quoins and has a slate roof. The building features five bays and a central slate hipped porch from the late 19th century, supported by large stone brackets. There is a mid wall string and cross windows with leaded glazing, which are likely 19th-century replacements. A canted two-storey hipped bay, added to the left gable in the 18th century, has 12-pane sashes. The house also includes late 19th to early 20th-century rear extensions and a large external stack at the right end gable. To the right, there is a hipped outbuilding, also from the late 19th century. The interior has not been seen but is reported to contain some panelling.
