Description

The building at 63 Royal Hill is an angle house dating to circa 1840. Its main facade faces Hyde Vale. The Royal Hill front features two windows, while the Hyde Vale front has three, along with a two-bay entrance screen on the left. The entrance screen contains a double door that has been converted into a window on the left, and a door with a fanlight featuring margin lights on the right, set within an entablature surround. The walls are stuccoed and feature giant pilasters supporting a frieze, cornice, and parapet with balustraded sections. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars and margin lights. All but the ground floor window on the left of the Hyde Vale front have been blocked.
