Description
No. 16 Luton Place is an early to mid-19th century, two-storey villa featuring three windows. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and has a stone cornice along with a stone-coped parapet that hides the roof. The building has a stone plinth and displays gauged brick arches with stone cills above sash windows that include glazing bars set in stucco-lined reveals. The first-floor windows are flat-headed, while the ground-floor windows are round-headed and located in round-arched recesses with stone impost blocks. The original door is now half-glazed but still retains its old knocker. It features a reeded cornice head and a patterned radial fanlight, all set beneath round gauged brick arches similar to those above the windows.
