Description

This is a small, circa 1800 lodge situated at the corner of Queen Elizabeth Drive, serving as an entrance to Grovelands Park. It is a single-storey building with two window bays. The exterior is stuccoed, featuring quoins and a rusticated central bay. It has a low-pitched, hipped slate roof with a central chimney. The windows are sash windows incorporating glazing bars. The entrance is through a central six-panel door. This building demonstrates group value as an original feature of the park’s setting.
