Description
The walls, gates, and railings in front of the lodge to Grovelands Park Hospital date from around 1800. They consist of fairly low, stone-coped brick walls with tall, square stone piers placed at intervals. Between these piers are wrought iron spearhead railings. In front of the lodge, the wall curves back in quadrant shapes, and the railing rises to two taller rusticated stone piers that support wrought iron double gates.
