Description

The property comprises three houses, Avington Croft Cottage (No. 111), Holcombe House (No. 113), and No. 115, built in the 18th century as a symmetrical composition of stock brick. The central block, Holcombe House, is three storeys high with three windows, while the flanking side blocks, Avington Croft Cottage and No. 115, are two storeys high, also with three windows each. Each house has a parapet front and a hipped roof – No. 111 retains old pantiles, No. 113 has modern pantiles, and No. 115 has flat modern tiles. The sash windows have glazing bars and are set within gauged flat brick arches. Each entrance features a reeded doorcase with a cornice hood. Nos. 107 to 117 (odd) form a group.
