Description
The Old Mill Building at Wright's Flour Mills is an 18th-century structure with alterations. It features a large three-storey block with an attic, where the ground floor is made of brick and the upper two storeys are weatherboarded, containing seven sash windows. There is a two-storey projecting weatherboarded sack hoist located off-centre above the first floor, topped with a flat roof. A modern corrugated lean-to canopy extends above the first-floor windows. The building has a slated roof with two flat-topped dormer windows. The Old Mill Building, along with the Mill Owner's House, the house to the east of the Old Mill Building, and the barn, form a working group that represents a very rare survival in London.
