Description
Ripaults Factory is a factory built around 1930, designed in an Art Deco style with a stucco facade and a flat roof. The building features a symmetrical layout with a two-storey central block flanked by single-storey wings on either side. The central section and both ends of the building project slightly and have rounded corners. There is a square-headed central entrance located beneath a projecting concrete canopy, with a triangular window above that has an ogee rooflet. A short rectangular tower rises above the entrance, adorned with decorative chrome strips around the entrance and the tower. The central block has horizontal strip windows, which are divided vertically into three lights, with the outer lights curving into the returns. The one-storey wings have continuous strip windows that curve around the forward projecting ends, featuring metal glazing bars that group vertically in triplets and divide the windows horizontally into five strips.
