Description
Rectory Cottage, dating from around 1800, is a two-storey building located on Church Road in Hanwell. It features colourwashed plaster and has two original pointed-headed, two-pointed light mullion and transom wood casements with leaded lights on each floor. The roof is tiled with a central stack. There are trellis porches on the ground floor, which differ on the right and left sides. To the right, there is a one-storey wing that matches the main building exactly, with two matching windows. To the left, there is a similar wing that has been raised to two storeys, featuring matching windows on the ground floor and two three-light casements on the upper floor. The overall block is L-shaped, and the inner side of the return wing has similar windows.
