Description
The White Lodge is a house located on Dunchurch Vicarage Lane, dating from the early 19th century, with 19th-century additions and early 20th-century alterations to the rear wing. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roof is tiled, and there are brick stacks at each end. The building has an L-plan layout, extended to a double-depth plan, and stands three storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front.
The porch includes a six-panelled door and a fanlight with panelled reveals, supported by painted wood fluted Doric pilasters and an open pediment. The windows are sash style, with 20 panes on the ground floor, 15 panes on the first floor, and a central six-pane sash along with two-light casements on the second floor. All openings have brick segmental arches and stone sills, with 20th-century louvred shutters.
On the left return side, there is a large 20th-century two-storey polygonal wood mullioned bay window, accompanied by a balcony featuring turned balusters and a canopy, as well as a 20th-century glazed door. The interior has not been inspected.
