Estate house. 1906, by Gilbert Fraser of Liverpool for John Lancaster. Dated 1906 on rainwater head. Minor C20 alterations. Concrete block imitating rockfaced stone and tooled ashlar, painted. Hipped plain tile roof with 2 coped ridge stacks. Rockfaced quoins. 2 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Symmetrical front with central half-glazed door flanked by single lights, and beyond, pairs of 2-light windows. Above, similar windows arranged 2/1/2. Above again, box dormer, 3 lights. These windows are glazing bar casements, and all the external joinery appears to be original. Rear has a single storey flat roofed projection with a 4-light window, and above, 2 windows, 1 and 2 lights. INTERIOR: Not accessible, but major elements seem to be intact.
