Description
This stable block dates to the late 18th or early 19th century and is located within Brent Lodge Park. Constructed of yellow stock brick with gauged arches, the stable block comprises nine bays arranged in a three-bay central section flanked by two three-bay wings. The central section features a brick-dentilled pediment. Carriage entrances with segmental arches are positioned centrally on either side of a semi-circular headed pedestrian entrance. The block has two storeys, with timber sash windows set within flat arches. A dentil cornice and parapet adorn the wings, and the roof is slate hipped.
