Description

Milestone located on the south side of Sevenoaks Road, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of limestone and has a triangular plan with a rounded top. The inscription on the plate reads "SEVENOAKS/8/LONDON/16". This milestone is situated on the New Cross Turnpike road, which was established in 1718.
