Description
Milestone located on the east side of Farnborough Common, dating from the early 19th century. This milestone is made of limestone and features a rounded top with inscription plates. One plate indicates "13 MILES TO LONDON BRIDGE," while the other states "1 MILE TO FARNBOROUGH." It is situated on the Blue Cross Turnpike road, which was established in 1718.
