Description

Farnborough Lodge is a house dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brown brick with tiled roofs. The main part of the house has a single-bay crossing. It is two storeys high with attics. The front facade has five bays, with the central bay a 20th-century projection containing a double window. The windows are flush-framed sashes, above elliptically headed French casements. There are two flat-hipped dormers in the roof. The entrance front features a Tuscan porch and a modern bay window. The rear elevation incorporates two 19th-century canted bays and one original cross-framed casement window. Notable original and 19th-century interior features are present. The house has deep eaves and hipped roofs.
