Description
32 and 32A Croydon Road are former stables of the mansion known as Hollydale, which has since been demolished. Dating from the 18th century, the building is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. The central section projects and includes three round-headed carriage arches that are flanked by pilasters. Above this is a pediment that contains a clock face in the tympanum, along with a small cupola that houses a bell. Each side section has two storeys and three windows. The ground floor of both sections features a round-headed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight and two round-headed windows. The glazing bars are intact.
