Description

1 and 2 Commonside are a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century in Keston. They consist of two parallel ranges. The houses are two storeys high and now have a pebbledashed exterior. They have hipped slate roofs and long-and-short quoins. The windows are sash windows with intact glazing bars. The houses have simple doorcases. Number 2 features a hipped trelliswork porch, while the porch at Number 1 has been lost. This group value reflects their well-preserved character and contribution to the streetscape.
