Description

Hayes Court is a building located on West Common Road in Hayes, constructed in 1776 by John Nixon and later enlarged by Chief Justice Sir Vicary Gibbs after 1797. The building features two storeys and has 13 windows. It is made of painted brick and has a parapet. A prominent two-storey bay with three tall windows is situated off-center. To the right of this bay, there is a wide porch supported by four columns. The porch contains a doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a door made up of six fielded panels. There is a modern ground floor projection to the left and an additional projection of three windows at the east end of the front. The glazing bars remain intact.
