Description

The Old Rectory is an 18th-century building located on Hayes Street in Hayes. It is two storeys high with an attic and features five windows and two gabled dormers. The exterior is constructed of red brick with grey headers, topped by a tiled roof. The glazing bars are intact. The main entrance has a doorway framed by a moulded architrave surround, which includes a projecting cornice and a rectangular fanlight. There are 19th-century window bays added at each end of the building. At the rear, there is a mansard roof with a small dormer, although much of this is obscured by later additions.
