Description

The Warren is a large red brick mansion built in 1882 for Walter Maximilian de Zoete, designed in a 17th century Dutch style. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring three crow-stepped gables adorned with terracotta brackets and blue brick diaper patterns. The windows are arranged irregularly and include mullioned and transomed designs. A prominent central brick porch is topped with stone balustrading that extends to the right side of the building. The porch is highlighted by a curved open pediment flanked by decorative panels with swag motifs.
