Description
This is a milestone from the early to mid-19th century, made of limestone. It has a thin, rectangular shape and features a plate that reads "LONDON/14/SEVENOAKS/10." The milestone is situated on the New Cross Turnpike road, which dates back to 1718. It is located adjacent to the electricity substation on the south side of High Street in Farnborough.
