Description

1-4 Tudor Cottages comprise a late 15th or early 16th century house, located on Foots Cray High Street. The building is timber-framed and has undergone substantial restoration and extension. Originally constructed as a Wealden house, it featured an open central hall with two-storey jettied wings projecting under a single hipped roof; small gablets are present at each end. Much of the house has been rebuilt behind the original facade, and the building is now modernised and has full stories throughout. Currently, there are four windows on each floor, with those on the right side of the building being part of a modern extension.
