Description

The stable block to the former Foots Cray Place, built around 1756, is a two-storey structure made of red brick. It is contemporary with the main house, which was destroyed by fire in 1950. The central portion of the stable block projects forward and features round-headed arches, a pediment, and an oculus. The wings of the building originally had one window each and a block cornice. The roof is hipped and slated, and there is a small square bell lantern on top.
