Description
The Seven Stars Public House is a building located on Foots Cray High Street, likely dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is two storeys high and features a timber-framed structure with weatherboarding. The original part of the building is positioned at right angles to the road, with its gable end rising from the pavement. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows, and a small window is located in the gable. The main entrance front includes one sash window and one casement window. The right-hand section of the building is faced in roughcast and has a 20th-century porch in the angle below. The sides and back of the old range are also covered in painted weatherboarding and contain various sashed and other types of windows. The roof is tiled. There is a large 20th-century extension that is built at right angles to the original structure.
