Description
No. 86 Dean Street is a corner terrace house built between 1735 and 1736. It is constructed of stock brick with red brick dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with a dormered attic and features three windows on the Dean Street side, along with a three-window return to St. Anne's Court. The ground floor has a mid-20th century shop front. The upper floors have flush framed glazing bar sash windows in the outer bays, which are set under flat gauged red brick arches. The centre windows are framed with cement architraves and steep pediments, which were likely once blind, similar to the centre windows of the return. The building has a parapet with coping. Inside, there is plain panelling and a pilaster in the passage, as well as a dog leg staircase.
