Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 1 to 7, located on the south side of Clarendon Gardens in the City of Westminster. The terrace is built of brick, with a stuccoed finish, and the ground floor is channelled. It rises to three storeys above a basement. Each house has two bays, with the right-hand four bays projecting forward. Steps lead to half-glazed doors with overlights, set within pilastered surrounds. The windows are sash windows with margin lights and scrolled ironwork to the sills. On the first floor, the sash windows are within architraves, beneath hoods supported by consoles and with an iron balcony. A sill band marks the second floor, above which are sash windows with glazing bars in architraves. A modillion cornice tops the building. The terrace is included in the listing for its group value.
