Description

No. 23 Blomfield Road is a mid-19th century villa constructed of brick, with a stuccoed and channelled ground floor. It has a Welsh slate roof and extends to three storeys plus a basement. The building is three bays wide, with a recessed side bay to the left. A central porch features angle pilasters and contains a panelled door with a fanlight overlight. The windows are tripartite sashes. A first-floor band runs around the building. The sashes on the first floor have glazing bars and are set within eared architraves supported by consoles. The roof overhangs, with bracketed eaves. The building is listed for group value only.
