Description

Numbers 21 and 22 Blomfield Road are a pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick, with a stucco finish, the ground floor being channelled. The roof is covered in Welsh slate. The houses are two storeys high with a basement, and are arranged with three bays, featuring recessed entrance bays on either side. The porches are square, with angle pilasters and round-arched entrances flanked by steps. The entrances have panelled doors with overlights. The windows are sash windows; No. 21 retains glazing bars in its sashes and has windows set within eared architraves on consoles. A band runs along each first floor, along with a sill band. The eaves are bracketed, and the roof is hipped with a stack placed on the party wall. Number 22 has a half-dormer window. A low stucco front wall with railings encloses the front garden.
