Description
Nos. 44 to 48 Frith Street are a row of terrace houses built between 1804 and 1807. They are constructed of stock brick, with No. 45 rendered, and feature concealed roofs. The buildings rise to four storeys, with each front having two windows. The original domestic ground floor includes a doorway on the right, but mid-20th century shop fronts have been inserted. The first-floor windows are set in shallow arched recesses, while the windows on the upper floors have recessed sashes, most of which include glazing bars, all under flat gauged arches. The parapets are topped with copings. Inside, the early 19th-century interiors are plain and include timber geometrical staircases.
