Description

TQ 2981 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER GREEK STREET, W1 58/39 23.11.78 No. 8 - II Terrace house. Basic fabric of 1731; refronted late C18/early C19 with mid C19 alterations. Stock brick concealed roof. 4 storeys. 2 windows wide. Ground floor has an early C20 shop front with fascia. Upper floors have recessed sash windows in mid C19 stucco architraves. Parapet with coping. Despite alterations interior retains dog leg closed string staircase with turned balusters and column newels, partly boxed in, and 1st floor fully panelled rear room with box cornice etc. Survey of London, Vol. XXXIII.
