Grand terrace of houses. Circa 1825. George Basevi. Stucco. Low slated mansard. Graeco-Roman. Centre and end houses set forward slightly with giant fluted Corinthian columns to first and second floors. 3 storeys, attic and basement. Each house 3 windows wide, except centre house which 5 windows. Channelling to ground floor. Projecting Doric porches. Continuous first floor balcony, cast iron except for centre and ends, where stucco balustrade. Windows: square headed; architraved above ground floor; pediments to first floor windows to centre and end houses. Mainly sashes, mainly plate glass. French casements to first floor. Dentil cornice above second floor. Balustraded parapet. Cartouches to attic of central house. Interiors not inspected. Cast iron area railings. One of four grand terraces facing Belgrave Square.
