Description
No. 38 is a detached house located on Chesham Place in Westminster, dating from the early to mid 19th century. The building is constructed of stucco and features a green slate mansard roof. It has three storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a width of three windows. The house has returns on both the right and left sides.
The central entrance is framed by a projecting Doric porch. The windows are square-headed and have architraves, with casements. The left-hand windows are blind on the ground, first floor, and attic levels. There are pediments above the first-floor windows and a console cornice above the second floor, along with a subsidiary cornice at the attic level. The property is enclosed by cast iron spearhead railings. The interiors have not been inspected.
