Description

No. 1 Belgrave Place is an early to mid-19th century terraced house in stucco. It has a rusticated ground floor and quoins. The house is three storeys high with double attics and a basement, and has a width of three windows, plus a segmented bow to the right-hand return facing Belgrave Square. A central Doric projecting porch is present, with square-headed windows, architraves, and pediments to the first floor. Sashes, some French casements, are fitted with glazing bars. A console cornice sits above the second floor, with a subsidiary cornice above the third. The roof has been extended by a full storey, likely in the 20th century. Cast iron area railings are present. The interior has not been inspected.
