Description

This is a row of six houses with ground-floor shops, built in the mid-19th century. The exterior is faced with stucco over brick, with stucco dressings. The roof is not visible. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement. Each house has a front width of two windows. The ground floor features surviving mid-19th century shopfronts, these are divided by pilasters and have arched windows above. The entrances have panelled doors. The first floor has projecting bombé balconies. The windows are square-headed and architraved, with pediments above those on the first floor. They contain sash windows with margin glazing. A console cornice sits above the second floor, topped by a parapet. The buildings are listed for their group value.
