Description

Dudley House is a Grade II listed building located on the south side of Piccadilly in the City of Westminster. Designed by William Woodward in 1905, it serves as offices and shops. The building features a Portland stone façade and a slate roof, showcasing classical detailing. It consists of five main storeys, an attic storey, and a dormered mansard, arranged in 11 major bays (three at each end and five in the middle).

The ground floor has mid to late 20th-century shop fronts beneath an entablature, but it retains two original stone entrances: No. 166 has a shaped hood, while No. 172 features a pediment. The central five bays of the upper floors are adorned with engaged Ionic columns, and the outer bays have canted oriel windows on the second and third floors. The building is topped with a main entablature below the attic storey, which includes a crowning cornice and blocking course.
