Description

129 Park Lane is an end-of-terrace townhouse with origins in the 18th century, featuring a bow front added in the 1790s. It underwent alterations by Thomas Cundy II in 1853 and a major rebuild between 1950 and 1952. The front facing Park Lane is finished in stucco, while the ground floor facing Green Street and Dunraven Street has rusticated stucco, with the upper floor displaying 1950s brickwork in an unusual bonding pattern. The building has three storeys, an attic storey with dormers, and a basement, topped with a slate roof.

The entrance on Dunraven Street features Doric columns. The Park Lane front is relatively unaltered, with rusticated quoins and four windows, three of which form a full-height bow on the left. To the right, there is a doorway with sidelights and a fanlight. The ground floor windows are semicircular arched with radial glazing and rustication at the heads. The first floor has a glazed-in verandah on a stone balustraded balcony supported by console brackets. The upper floors contain casement windows with shallow architrave surrounds. A main cornice runs above the second floor, with an attic cornice and a balustraded parapet above.
