Description
No. 96 Park Lane is a terraced town house rebuilt in 1826. It has a stucco exterior and a slate roof, standing five storeys tall with a basement. The front of the building is completely bowed and features three windows. The ground floor is canted to accommodate an entrance on the right, which includes a four-panel door and a semicircular fanlight. The ground floor also has casement windows with scrolled pediments added around 1900. The upper floors contain recessed glazing bar sashes, with French casements on the first floor. There is a string course above the second floor, a cornice cum sill course at the fifth floor, and a crowning cornice with a parapet that has a delicate geometric cast iron guard rail. Additionally, there is a good cast iron tent roof balcony verandah supported by trellis. The property is enclosed by spear head railings.
