Description
No. 21 Dunraven Street is a Grade II listed terrace house located in the City of Westminster. It was built in 1758, with a heightening around 1834 and alterations made in 1887. The building is faced with stucco and features a rusticated ground floor. It stands five storeys tall with a basement and is three windows wide.
The central porch, added in the late 19th century, is supported by Ionic columns. The windows are architraved sash windows without glazing bars, and the upper floors have pediments, except for the top attic storey. There are moulded strings between the storeys, an original main cornice above the second floor, and a cornice with blocking at the attic.
On the Park Lane elevation, there is a glazed columned and bowed balcony on the first floor with a wrought iron balustrade, as well as a wrought iron balcony on the fourth floor. The windows on this elevation are also architraved and have cornices. The property is enclosed by cast iron area railings.
