Description

This is a terrace of houses located on Park Street and Upper Grosvenor Street, built in the early 20th century by Blow and Billerey. The building is constructed of Portland stone, with a roof that is not visible. It is three storeys high, plus an attic, with dormers. The facade has fifteen bays. Channelled rustication is used throughout, with the deepest rustication on the ground floor. The central three bays project slightly and feature round-headed windows and an entrance flanked by giant Ionic columns that rise through the first and second floors to the attic, which is topped by a pediment containing an oval window. Alternating arched and square-headed windows are present on the ground floor. Paired porches project from the third and fourth bays from the right and the left-hand bay. The entrances have glazed doors with wrought iron screens. The first-floor windows are square-headed with metal casements and small panes. A modillion cornice runs above the second floor, with a smaller dentil cornice beneath the attic. A balustraded parapet tops the building. The side returns are similar in style. Wrought iron area railings are also present.
