Description
This is a terrace of houses dating to around 1830, located on the west side of Elizabeth Street, City of Westminster, and including a mews arch connecting to Eaton Mews West. The terrace comprises numbers 81 to 93 (odd). The houses are primarily brick construction, with number 81 being fully stuccoed. They are three storeys high, with attics and basements, and each house has two windows. Numbers 81 to 87 are set forward slightly and feature corner pilasters. The ground floor is stuccoed, with arched entrances and ground floor windows. There are panelled doors. First-floor windows are sash windows with gauged heads and glazing bars, while the first floor features cast iron balconies. French casements are also present on the first floor. A cornice sits above the second floor, with a subsidiary cornice above the attic. Cast iron area railings are present. The terrace possesses group value.
