Houses and intervening mews arch. Mid C19 houses, altered. Stucco. Green slate mansards to parapets. 2 storeys, attic and basement. No 9 of 3 sash bays, No 8 of 6 bays. Square headed windows. Sashes to 8 with glazing bars, casements to No 9, probably circa 1900. Mews arch segmental headed; channelled rustication; cornices; overlaps both houses.
