Description
No 84 Eaton Place is a terraced house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a leaded mansard roof. The building has three storeys, an attic, a mansard attic, and a basement, and is three windows wide. The ground floor has channelling, and there is a fluted Doric projecting porch. The windows are square-headed sashes with glazing bars, and the first floor has French casements. The first floor also features architraves and cornices, along with a balustraded balcony. Above the second floor is a dentil cornice, and there is a subsidiary cornice above the third floor, topped by a balustraded parapet. The house has area railings and a return to the left side. It is part of a unified design with Nos 90 to 104 (even), although the intervening houses have been rebuilt.
